Senior Corporate Strategist Planner
The National Security Agency's Corporate Strategy and Planning Office has an immediate opening for an experienced corporate strategist and planner with a broad federal government business background, in-depth experience in large organizations, and strong interpersonal and executive staff skills.
As a Senior Corporate Strategist and Planner for NSA, you will provide analysis, recommendations, and briefings for senior leaders on special topics that impact the success of Agency goals and objectives. Your charge will include significant liaison for the Agency with the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense senior staffs concerning national strategies, plans, future scenarios, trends, and multi-disciplinary guidance. Duties will include engaging with and influencing Intelligence Community and Department of Defense counterparts to develop and execute strategy and planning through teams and working groups; gathering corporate business data and perform high-level trend, threat, and futures analysis using a variety of environmental scan techniques to support Agency strategy development, scenario-based and capabilities-based planning, resource estimation, and performance measurement; and planning and coordinating strategic management processes used by agency leaders to make investment decisions.

Requirements |
The successful candidate will have at least three years experience in either the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense as a corporate strategist/planner with at least one year of specialized, hands-on analytic experience. Ideally, the individual will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, economics, computer science, or engineering and a Master's degree. Knowledge of Intelligence Community, Defense Department, or Joint Staff structures, functions, policies, strategic management processes, procedures, and programs is required.
To be successful, you must be a skilled problem solver and thinker who can independently identify resource requirements, ensure organizational equities are considered, and skillfully prepare and staff lucid recommendations for senior leadership. Proven ability to prepare and present high-quality oral and written technical reports and presentations in a variety of fields (i.e., Strategic Planning, Scenario-Based Planning, Strategy Development and Implementation, Problem Resolution, Process Management, Negotiation, Innovation, Performance Management, Business Intelligence, Balanced Scorecard methods, Information Management, Information Research, Internal and External Customer Relations for Organizational Management, and Applied Best Practices) is required. Must have high level of skill with standard Microsoft Office desktop applications including Microsoft PROJECT; experience with social software applications and tools, e.g., wiki, is required
