Supervisor, Distribution
The Distribution Supervisor leads and supervises activities within distribution facility up to and including assembly, shipping, inventory, and receiving to ensure performance level meets the targeted production and/or shipping metrics/goals. This position will serve as a floater Distribution Supervisor and will be responsible for filling in departments when the regular supervisor is out of the building or otherwise as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures materials are packaged accurately and production goals are met for the specific goals of the assigned department.
Ensures product is prepared accurately and shipped in a timely manner. Plans flow of materials through department. Interfaces with other departments in distribution center to ensure customer demand is met.
Ensures all space, equipment, and resources are in working order and that processes are efficient and exceeds the expectation of both internal and external customers.
Analyzes and resolves issues. Ensures policies are followed and safety is enforced for production & shipping areas. Suggests areas of improvement in production flow and shipping processes including inventory control.
Implements appropriate training programs and performance measurements for area of responsibility. Tracks and generates production reports for performance levels of departmental performance.
Maintains 99% accuracy level for production metrics within area of responsibility (e.g. assembly line/shipping area, receiving, and other).
Other duties may be assigned.

The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the assigned area, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:
One to five years' supervisory experience in a warehouse/supply chain (production, shipping, and/or receiving) environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs and basic data base processes
Experience with scan guns, conveyor systems, and other Windows applications such as Outlook required
Must be familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic inventory processes
College degree or equivalent work experience required
Wireless industry experience a plus!
